The Centre is situated 3 km from Amelia (TR), a very old town whose
origin goes back to the pre-Roman era. It embodies 3 buildings on a
land of 12 acres with an olive grove, a vineyard and a vegetable
garden. The olive grove is one of the oldest of the area and many
trees are centuries old. |

The place was already inhabited during the Roman era and some finds have
been discovered near the water spring of the property.
The area offers several interesting destinations for pilgrimages and
excursions and many are the places touched by Saint Francis’ feet. Rome,
Assisi and Perugia are about 90 km far and Spoleto 70 km. |

By car,
follow the motorway A1, exit Orte. Then turn left, direction Orte.
At the crossing for Amelia turn right. The entrance gate of the CUP is
10,4 km on the left.
By plane,
from Roma-Fiumicino airport take the train to Orte. From Ciampino
airport take the Ryanair bus to Roma Termini railway station then take
the train to Orte.
By train,
from Orte station take a taxi (cell. +39 337764081 or +39 3270979240) or
the bus to Amelia (times : 6.50, 7.45, 14.50, 18.30, Saturdays 19.15;
return : 6.25, 7.20, 14.25, 18.00, Saturdays 18.45) to the gate of the
